Common Questions About These Halloween DIYs
What is the easiest Halloween DIY here?
The borax crystal skulls and the bleeding candles are the quickest. Both are beginner-friendly, cheap, and take just a few minutes of hands-on time.
What do I need to make borax crystal skulls?
Just a box of borax and plastic skulls from the dollar store. You dissolve the borax in hot water, suspend the skulls overnight, and crystals form right on them. The full tutorial is linked above.
Are these projects budget-friendly?
Very. Most use dollar store finds, thrifted pieces, or scrap materials you probably already have at home, so you can decorate for very little.
Can I make these with kids?
Yes! Several are great for kids, like the marigold garland, crystal skulls, and ghost candles. Just lend a hand with anything involving a stove, hot glue, or power tools.
