The brief

What Vince asked for, and what the floors were like when you started. Two or three sentences.

What I built

  • Pulled up the wall to wall carpet and padding and cleared the rooms
  • Prepped and papered the plywood subfloor
  • Installed maple flooring with a floor nailer through the living room, hallway and landing
  • Cut and fitted the boards around the doorways and the top of the stairs
